Bay Area schools were working to restore access to Canvas on Friday after a cyberattack on the company behind the widely used learning platform left students and teachers around the world without access to homework and exams.<\/p>\n

Stanford University, the California State University system and the Peralta Colleges \u2014 Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College and Merritt College \u2014 were among the institutions that had begun to restore the software\u2019s use on Friday.<\/p>\n
