The Bay Area is about to experience a quadfecta of hot weather and climate effects this week \u2014 high temperatures, fire danger, sneaker waves and high tides.<\/p>\n

As a ridge of higher pressure builds over the region, Bay Area National Weather Service meteorologists forecast high heat to peak Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThursday is going to be the hottest day and almost 15 to 25 degrees above normal for this time of year,\u201d said Lamont Bain, a meteorologist with the weather service\u2019s Bay Area office. \u201cIt\u2019s going to certainly be pretty warm to downright hot for some people.\u201d<\/p>\n
