Richard Tillman, the brother of late NFL player and Army Ranger Pat Tillman Jr., was sentenced to five years in prison on Monday for setting fire to a South San Jos\u00e9 post office building last summer.<\/p>\n

Tillman was also ordered to pay $2.37 million in restitution for the damage to the post office and will be put on probation for three years following his prison term, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Judge Edward J. Davila handed down the sentence in federal court in San Jos\u00e9, matching the recommendation from both the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office and Tillman\u2019s public defender, which stems from a February plea agreement.<\/p>\n

Tillman spoke at length about his beliefs during a statement he gave to the court, saying he believes that he is the son of God and created all things, people and animals.<\/p>\n
